<p>These terms apply to every order placed on victoriaslavinskaia.com. Please read them before you buy. By placing an order, you accept these terms, together with our <a href="/policies/refund-policy">Return and refund policy</a> and our <a href="/policies/privacy-policy">Privacy policy</a>.</p>
<h2>1. Who we are</h2>

<p>The website runs on Shopify, which hosts the store and processes payments on our behalf.</p>
<h2>2. Our products</h2>
<p>Our pieces are made in Italian ateliers in limited numbers, and many are made only once. We describe and photograph every piece as accurately as we can. Because they are made by hand from natural materials such as silk, cashmere, leather and shearling, small variations in colour, texture and finish are part of each piece and are not defects. Colours may also look slightly different on your screen.</p>
<h2>3. Orders and contract</h2>
<p>When you place an order, you make an offer to buy. We email you to confirm that we have received it; this email is not yet acceptance. The contract between you and us is formed when we email you to confirm that your order has been dispatched.</p>
<p>Because our pieces are made in limited numbers, we may not be able to accept an order, for example if a piece has sold out, or if there was an obvious error in its price or description. In that case we will tell you as soon as possible and refund any amount you have paid in full.</p>
<p>You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. Our store is intended for consumers; we may decline orders that appear to be for resale.</p>
<h2>4. Prices and payment</h2>
<p>Prices are shown in the currency you select and include VAT. For delivery outside the European Union, the price at checkout also includes import duties and taxes, so nothing more is due on delivery. Delivery is free worldwide.</p>
<p>We accept credit and debit cards, PayPal and Apple Pay. Payment is taken when you place your order. If an order is cancelled before dispatch, we refund the full amount.</p>
<h2>5. Delivery</h2>
<p>Orders ship from our warehouse in Florence, Italy, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Delivery usually takes 2 to 4 business days after dispatch; these times are estimates, not guarantees. We will email you a tracking number once your order has shipped.</p>
<p>Please check your delivery address at checkout, as we cannot change it once an order has been dispatched. If the carrier cannot deliver after its delivery attempts and the parcel is returned to us, we will contact you to arrange delivery again or a refund.</p>
<p>The risk of loss or damage passes to you when the order is delivered to you or to a person you have named. If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please note this on the carrier's delivery documents and contact us.</p>
<h2>6. Returns, cancellation and refunds</h2>
<p>You may return any order within 14 days of delivery, free of charge, as described in our <a href="/policies/refund-policy">Return and refund policy</a>. If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also have the legal right to cancel your contract within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason. To do so, email <a href="mailto:boutique@victoriaslavinskaia.com">boutique@victoriaslavinskaia.com</a> with your order number and a clear statement that you wish to cancel.</p>
<h2>7. Legal guarantee</h2>
<p>Every piece is covered by the legal guarantee of conformity under applicable consumer law (in Portugal, three years from delivery). If an item is faulty or not as described, contact us and we will repair or replace it, or refund you, as the law provides. This guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear, damage from accidents or misuse, or damage from not following the care instructions.</p>
<h2>8. Gift cards and discount codes</h2>
<p>Discount codes and promotional offers apply only under the conditions stated when they are issued, cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be combined unless we say so. Unless the law requires otherwise, gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash.</p>
<h2>9. Accounts</h2>
<p>If you create an account, please keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account, and we may suspend accounts that are used fraudulently or in breach of these terms.</p>
<h2>10. Intellectual property</h2>
<p>All content on this website, including designs, photographs, texts, logos and the Victoria Slavinskaia name, belongs to us or our licensors. You may view it and share links to it for personal use; you may not copy, reproduce or use it commercially without our written permission.</p>
<h2>11. Liability</h2>
<p>We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability where the law does not allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or under your rights as a consumer.</p>
<h2>12. Personal data</h2>
<p>We use your personal data to process your order and as described in our <a href="/policies/privacy-policy">Privacy policy</a>.</p>
<h2>13. Complaints and disputes</h2>
<p>If something has gone wrong, please contact us first at <a href="mailto:boutique@victoriaslavinskaia.com">boutique@victoriaslavinskaia.com</a>; we aim to reply within two business days. You can also file a complaint in the electronic complaints book (Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico) at <a href="https://www.livroreclamacoes.pt">www.livroreclamacoes.pt</a>.</p>
<p>If we cannot resolve a dispute together, you may refer it to an alternative dispute resolution entity, such as CNIACC, the National Centre for Consumer Arbitration (<a href="https://www.cniacc.pt">www.cniacc.pt</a>), or to the competent courts.</p>
<h2>14. Governing law</h2>
<p>These terms are governed by Portuguese law. If you are a consumer living in another country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence, and you may bring a claim in the courts of that country.</p>
<h2>15. Changes to these terms</h2>
<p>We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are the ones published on this page when you placed it.</p>
